K-12 Education

The mission of Snyder ISD is to equip everyone to pursue excellence every day. SISD, located in Snyder, Texas, serves approximately 2,500 students, employs almost 400 staff members.  The district serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade across four different campuses.

From a dual-language program for primary school students to the P-TECH High School, SISD is proud to offer an array of opportunities for both students and educators.

Snyder Primary and Intermediate Schools

Academics

Snyder Primary and Intermediate Schools are committed to helping each student achieve success. Each campus places a strong emphasis on STEM, inquiry-based learning, and career exploration.

STEM Labs

Both campuses have a dedicated STEM space. These labs are equipped with hands-on materials.

These labs are the perfect area to foster creativity and allow students to extend their knowledge in various ways.  Each campus is also home to a student-run greenhouse where students grow and harvest plants. 

Dual-Language Program

Snyder ISD offers a unique opportunity for elementary students to learn a second language over six years.

Preparing students to become responsible citizens and disciplined learners in high school and beyond.

Academics

Snyder Junior High School and Responsive Education Solutions offers a rigorous education in the liberal arts and sciences. Students may participate in UIL academic events and regional and state competitions in STEM, History, and more!

Athletics

Seventh and Eighth-grade students may participate in athletics. Golf, volleyball, football, basketball, cross country, tennis, and track are available.

Students who desire a more challenging academic environment may enroll in honors courses, dual-credit college courses and choose from various robust electives.

Students may earn all or some credits required to complete an associate degree.  Through the Opportunity Scholarship at Western Texas College, students can earn FREE tuition!
