DCOS announces first retail project: Feather Printing and Supplies, LLC
Snyder, TX - Feather Printing and Supplies, LLC, a new printing company, has officially opened its doors in Snyder, Texas. The company aims to offer high-quality printing services and exceptional customer service to businesses and individuals in the Snyder area. DCOS is proud to announce its first retail project to the community.
Feather Printing will operate out of the business previously known as Stephens Office Supply & Printing. Chris and Michelle Bird of the Blessed Nest worked with the Development Corporation of Snyder (DCOS) to secure the building for purchase as well as the support needed to renovate the space to expand current offerings and offer the most up-to-date technology.
“Owning a small business can be challenging and there isn't always a lot of help for a business owner to find information or navigate the challenges we face,” said Feather Printing and Supplies owner, Michelle Bird. “Over the past few years, I have utilized the DCOS many times for advice and help. We have spent a lot of money investing in this business and with the help from the DCOS, we can add new and updated services and continue to grow our sales along with our employee base.”
Feather Printing specializes in a range of printing services, including business cards, brochures, flyers, banners, and more. The company also offers custom design services to ensure that each customer receives a unique and personalized product that meets their specific needs. It also uses the latest printing technology and equipment to ensure that each print is of the highest quality.
“We’re really excited that we were able to retain this business in Snyder,” said DCOS Executive Director, Barbara Leatherwood. “Without a local print company, our businesses would not have an option but to use the national retailers nearby instead. With their own capital investment of $750K, Feather Printing is adding additional jobs, renovating a downtown building, and keeping a viable business in Snyder. We are proud to partner with Michelle and Chris to continue building a better future for Snyder together.”
Leatherwood continued, “We’re very grateful to Michelle and Chris for reaching out to the DCOS to get the resources needed to make this happen. We have several vacant buildings in town already and now Stephens isn’t another one, and we are able to keep this vital service and retailer local in our community.”
Though Feather Printing is currently under construction, it will be open throughout the remodel.
Feather Printing is located at 1808 26th St. in Snyder and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The company invites businesses and individuals in the Snyder area to stop by and learn more about its printing and design services.
